Criminal defense: Pennsylvania man charged with raping 2 children

A 47-year-old man was recently arrested for allegedly raping children. The Pennsylvania resident was taken into custody in Delaware County after an extensive search for him. Police say the accused raped two sisters. He would be wise to enlist the help of a sharp criminal defense team to help him fight the charges.

The accused claims he is innocent and told reporters he would never have done such a thing. But he says that most people believe those arrested are guilty until they're proved innocent, not the other way around. The assaults supposedly happened five years ago.

The accused was arrested with the help of the Aston Police Department and the U.S. Marshals' Fugitive Task Force. He was apprehended at the home of his aunt where he was said to have been hiding in a closet. Area schools were put on lockdown while police searched for the suspect they say molested the girls over a five-year period. Police also arrested a woman they say was harboring the accused in the home where she worked as a live-in caregiver.

A Pennsylvania criminal defense lawyer may be able to provide guidance to clients who have been accused of violent crimes such as sexual assault. An attorney will go over every shred of evidence pertaining to every charge. Those accused of rape -- especially when the charge involves children -- will face condemnation from the community and a determined prosecution. A lawyer will help the client figure out the best course of action to respond to the formal charges, while protecting the legal rights of the accused at every stage of the proceedings.
