Drug charges laid in alleged $8 million a week packing operation

An alleged $8 million-a-week drug-packaging operation has been halted by authorities. Pennsylvania police seized what they claim are large quantities of heroin and fentanyl from a Bucks County home and have arrested 11 individuals who are now facing various drug charges. These individuals will have to fight these charges aggressively with the help of experienced legal teams. Drug charge convictions carry with them potential life-changing punishments such as incarceration and hefty fines.

Inside the home that authorities allege was used for the packaging operation, police say they found thousands of baggies containing the same substance, only in small amounts. They also say they found drug paraphernalia and packaging equipment. In going through the residence, authorities say they found a gun and an undisclosed quantity of cash.

Two men, ages 38 and 43, who police believe were heading up the operation, are facing felony drug charges. They have been arraigned and are being held in custody on $10 million bail. Three women have been charged, and the rest of the accused are male. They are all being held on $5 million bail each.

Felony drug charges are serious, and Pennsylvania imposes harsh penalties for those convicted. Working with an experienced legal team is the first line of defense in fighting those charges. An attorney would be able to assist those charged to aggressively fight for the best outcome possible. A conviction can result in serious consequences such as lengthy prison time, large fines and other negative social ramifications like the inability to secure employment, being socially ostracized and never again being able to own a firearm.
